NOW OPEN: CALL FOR 2025 CAPSULE RESEARCH PROPOSALS

The Department of Health-Eastern Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH-EV CHD) and the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office VIII (DOST VIII), through the Eastern Visayas Health Research and Development Consortium (EVHRDC), invite all qualified health researchers from Eastern Visayas to submit their 2025 Capsule Research Proposals! This year’s call focuses on research studies that drive policy change and community engagement through Health Policy and Systems Research (HPSR) and Participatory Action Research (PAR).
All proposed studies must address priorities outlined in the 2023–2028 Regional Unified Health Research Agenda (RUHRA) and the Top 15 Priority HPSR Topics for 2025 in the region (Click here to view).
This opportunity is open to researchers affiliated with EVHRDC member institutions. To be eligible, the project leader must:
- Be a Filipino residing in Eastern Visayas
- Have a credible research track record
- Not be leading any ongoing DOH or EVHRDC-funded project
- Be open to interdisciplinary and community-based collaboration
- Conduct the study within Eastern Visayas
Researchers are encouraged to explore HPSR and PAR frameworks and submit capsule proposals for both, using the appropriate templates.
