Maydolong, Eastern Samar - The Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) – Eastern Samar Chapter spearheaded an Operation Tuli activity and conducted the oath taking of its new set of officers today, 14th of April 2018 at the Municipal Health Office of Maydolong.

The PNA Chapter organized the Operation Tuli activity, in collaboration with LGU- Maydolong, as a reflection of its commitment of delivering health services to communities. The activity was witnessed by the PNA Region-8 Governor Mr. Niño Archie S. Labordo who led other participating nurses on health education emphasizing personal hygiene among the 33 children, ranging from 7-12 years of age, who submitted for circumcision. The health education session was likewise extended to parents and guardians who gave consent for the procedure.

The association chapter’s new set of officers also took their oath of office before the PNA Governor from the President, Marlon Cenil Salazar; Vice-President (North) – Gene Bardaje Amboy; Vice-President (South) – Teresita Garado; Secretary – Alessa B. Ypil; Assistant Secretary- Melba Bugtas; Treasurer – Esther Chan; Assistant Treasurer – Lorna Abit; Public Information Officer – Fortunato Concan, Jr.; Auditor – Imelda Glino; Nomelec – Dr. Flores B. Sta. Cruz; House of Delegates Member – Mark Bency M. Elpedes; Board of Directors – Marissa Titular, Ester Fajardo, Lina Go, and Nancy M. Elpedes.
