Every second of August, the health research community celebrates the Philippine National Health Research System (PNHRS) Week.
The theme of this year's 12th PNHRS Week celebration is "Research and Innovation for Equity in Health," set last August 6-9, 2018 at the CAP John Hay Trade and Cultural Center, Baguio City.
The conference will serve as the platform for participants to discuss the current situation, challenges, and advancements related to improving health and equity through reinforced health research and innovation in the regions and local communities.
The conference is organized by the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development in collaboration with the Cordillera Regional Health Research and Development Consortium.
The EVHRDC Team headed by Engr. Edgardo M. Esperancilla, Co-Chair Person of EVHRDC and Regional Director of DOST8 showcase their excellent performance and garners three (3) awards from different contest during the weeklong celebration.
Oral Research Presentation (Professional Category)
Charlie E. Labarda, MD, MDM from University of the Philippines Manila School of Health Sciences won as the 3rd Placer for his paper entitled "Analysis of the Health Status of ST Haiyan Affected Communities in the Island of Leyte".
Consortium Poster Exhibit Contest
Eastern Visayas Health Research and Development Consortium (EVHRDC) won as the 1st Place.
Capacity Building Committee Best Practices Poster Exhibit Contest
