The Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) would like to extend the 2017 MECO - TECO Call for Proposals in pursuit of cooperation between DOST and Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST).
This Call is a mutually benefitial and collaborative project proposals in any of the following identified property areas for implemtation:
* Water Resource Management
* Omics for Personalized Medicine
* Marine Resources
The modes of cooperation include joint research/study, exchange of scientists/technical experts, capacity building, scientific and technical to facilities, provision of professional services, organization of scientific conferance, symposia, training courses, and worlshops and invistigations and the Sandwich Scholarship Program (SSP).
Interesting parties are advised to coordinates with prospective counterpart/collaborator in Taiwan to craft their proposals. The Filipino researcher must submit the proposals to DOST while the Taiwanese counterpart will submit the same to MOST for separate review and evaluation. Only projects approved by both DOST and MOST will be implemented under this cooperation scheme.
