Tacloban City, Leyte - The Eastern Visayas Health Research and Development Consortium (EVHRDC) held its Second Quarter Executive Committee (ExeCom) Meeting along with the Committee Chairs, for the first time in 2018, at The Loft Hotel Function Hall, Marasbaras, Tacloban City last April 17, 2018 where some of the agenda were the approval of the EVHRDC Manual of Operations, the composition of TRB, the Assessment and Evaluation Tools for members and member institutions crafted by SOMEC, and the proposed Cash Award for the Outstanding Health Research & Development Institution.
Present in the meeting were Dr. Minerva Molon – ExeCom Chair, Engr. Edgardo Esperancilla – ExeCom Co-chair, Engr. Ernesto Granada – Consortium Director, Dr. Lucia Dauz – EVHRDC Coordinator, Ms. Resurreccion Enage of NEDA who represented Atty. Bonifacio Uy, and Dr. Filedito Tandinco of UPM-SHS – representing Dr. Salvador Isidro Destura.

The committee chairs present during the meeting were Dr. Jane Borrinaga of Ethics Review Committee (ERC), Mr. Leonido Olobia of Research Management Committee (RMC), Mr. Willard Riveral of Research Information Committee (RIC), Dr. Virgildo Sabalo of Capability Building Committee (CBC), and Ms. Josephine Hipe of Structure, Organization, Management and Evaluation Committee (SOMEC).
Ended at past four in the afternoon, the second quarter ExeCom and Committee Chairs meeting was highly productive as all agenda and concerns were discussed and addressed.
