The Research Proposal Enhancement Workshop, an activity spearheaded by the Eastern Visayas Health Research and Development Consortium (EVHRDC) Research Management Committee (RMC) is conducted annually with the main purpose of developing the full-blown proposals of the researchers.
Three research teams- led by Dr. Pearl Irish de Paz of Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), Dr. Jeffry Ocay of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), and Mr. Bryan Joseph Matillano of Leyte Normal University (LNU), were invited to this year’s workshop which was conducted at Hotel Lorenza, Tacloban City on July 12-14, 2023.
Each team was requested to present their research proposals to the RMC members to determine which parts of their studies need to be enhanced and revised. After which, the researchers were given time to consolidate the suggestions and recommendations of the RMC members and to incorporate them into their proposals.
By the end of the workshop, the teams were able to accomplish their full-blown proposals. The said proposals will then be endorsed to the Technical Review Board for further evaluation.
