The Eastern Visayas Health Research Consortium (EVHRDC) held a two-day workshop on April 29–30, 2025, at Hotel Alejandro in Tacloban City to review and update its Manual of Operations. The Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) has been awarded a ₱310,000 research grant from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to support a study entitled: “Psychological Stress, Suicidal Ideation, and Coping Mechanisms among Students in Selected Tertiary Academic Institutions in Eastern Visayas,”. The research is led by Dr. Pearl Irish V. De Paz, with Dr. Willard N. Riveral and Dr. Jovy Dia R. Saniel as research members, from the School of Nursing and Health Sciences of BiPSU.
